The Design Challenge -

The project required creating a unified UI/UX experience to bridge six diverse product categories—ranging from printers and mobile devices to notebooks, monitors, home appliances, and cameras.

The Design Solution -

As part of a UX/UI exploration to unite six distinct product groups through shared emotional interactions, the design reimagined how device status and functionality were communicated. The ACCENT Single Function Printer (SFP) conveys critical information in an accent colored-band. When the printer is not in use, the band displays a solid color and hides controls. It features an integral lid that doubles as an extended paper tray.
