The Design Solution

The result is a simple arched stand designed to support and highlight the sphere-shaped camera. It features a uniquely shaped two-part base (ABS) with a rubbery foot (Santoprene) at the base to provide friction against cable pull. The camera connection is straightforward and keeps the camera securely positioned in any direction. Additionally, if the unit is accidentally dropped, it is designed not to break; instead, the components detach safely so they can simply be snapped back together (designed to withstand drop-test requirements).
