The Design Challenge -
The objective was to replace Camelbak’s long-standing flagship Eddy bottle by identifying key areas for improvement while ensuring the new design remained ultra-robust, reliable, and built for long-term market success.
The Design Solution -
The Eddy+ introduces a completely redesigned, highly hygienic bite valve that increases flow rate by 25%, offers an easier bite experience, and includes a spill-proof mode. Improved stem detents extend durability by 400%, providing a more secure straw insertion and bite valve attachment. Featuring an easier-to-open thumb tab made with a soft silicone surface supported by a rigid lever, as well as customizable TPE overmolded parts, the updated bottle delivers seamless, modern visual integration.
