The Design Challenge -
The objective was to completely redesign the Eddy+ Kids water bottle cap to align with the new Eddy+ lineup while tailoring every safety, size, and usability feature specifically for children's hands.
The Design Solution -
The Eddy+ Kids features a revolutionized spill-proof cap with an easy-carry handle that offers a textured, soft-touch grip and two-color customization. Its new flip-up bite valve increases water flow by 25%, is designed to be choke-hazard safe, and allows for easy removal and cleaning. Made from BPA, BPS, and BPF-free materials, the cap incorporates a unique stem locking detent that securely holds the bite valve down flush inside a deeper garage position when closed.
