The Design Challenge -
The primary design challenge behind the Owl Car Cam was to create an adaptable, integrated solution that delivers an elevated security experience within any vehicle interior while providing continuous 24/7 visual protection. Designing for the modern car interior required overcoming ergonomic and spatial hurdles—specifically creating a compact silhouette that adapts to varying dashboard depths and heights without obstructing the driver’s line of sight. From a holistic branding and user-centric perspective, the vision demanded a system that could eliminate messy, visible wires across the console while simultaneously serving as an instant visual deterrent to potential car thieves.
